WE. DID. IT

Ozier Muhammad/The New York Times

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer."

We baked a delicious cake in honor of the election. When Obama won, we baked another cake. We are overflowing with celebration in this house!

Yes we did. What a wonderful moment in our lives. Lots of work lies ahead, but now there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I am so happy today. I have not slept much in two days. While the sun has yet to rise this morning here in California, looking out my window this morning the world looks so bright for ALL of our futures.

The people have spoken. Amen.
Feeling hopeful, yet cautious... praying that no hookers, interns, pages, or spleefs appear out of nowhere.

Congratulations! These are a series of lovely posts!
I'm gushing about them.
Cheers!

(My home state of California, a conservative one outside of LA and SF, has been a disappointment with voting for prop 8, Against equal rights basically); What a world?
