What Trees Can Tell Us

Happy Day After Earth Day. I am celebrating the week by reading Barbara Kingsolver's book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and feeling really motivated to do even better this year.

But I am celebrating today by sharing some wonderful work by three very sweet friends. Their love of nature is expressed so clearly and so beautifully and move me so deeply, always touched by their delicate handling and understanding of their subjects...here, trees...

    i just shot some magnolias yesterday! i was so excited to find a tree at a church that i drove by. (stopping to take pictures of magnolia trees in someones lawn isn't such a great idea!)
    :)

    but i felt free to do so at a church. it was a Wednesday. no one was there. why not! :)

  5. Kingsolver is my favorite contemporary author. I think she's brilliant. Have you read Prodigal Summer? My fave....
