A Month in the Garden and other Places

So many things so many things.
I've been away from this spot for almost a month. I'm not sure how it happened. My husband actually asked me to blog. But I've been trying to exercise more. And greening up the patio and getting a lot of dirt on my hands takes time.

The baby bare roots came. And have been been hanging out with my friends. And with my family.
I went to a gorgeous wedding.

I received the most perfect dessert plates from Gleena. I am planning desserts to go on them. I sang a Modest Mouse song at a karaoke lounge (it felt really good). I went to a beautiful dinner at a friends place. We had our first grill out of the season.

I joined on a "choose wedding invitation colors" field trip because Rachel's getting married and Breck is printing her invitations
I am making many many bridal headpieces and bridesmaid's headpieces too. I'm designing an engagement ring. I'm playing with animals. I've been doing the Brooklyn Flea on Saturdays.

I rocked out a slew of mother's day orders to beat the band. My hands hurt. I spent a sunny mother's day with mom and brothers. I've been mesmerized (guiltily) by the housewives.
Somehow a month has happened and Spring is springing and maybe has just sprung. But enough about me. Tell me about you?

Okay....first of all. You are heaven on earth, ya know? I love that you took a month long break, though I missed you, cause look at all of the beautiful "life is all about these moments" things you did?! I adore your flowers, they look great hun & I would love to see the roses when they come up, and I adore the design you are designing for the engagement ring....LOVE. AND....all of those Gleena plates are making my heart ache( I want some SO very much). Lovely! I sent two of Gleena's gorgeous cups to P for her wedding, and Gleena was so sweet. Then those beautiful green earrings of yours....I just want to tag along on your shoulder for one day, is that okay? :) I cannot wait to see you on the 23rd.....maybe before? Maybe at the flea? When will you be there again?

Wow, you've had quite the month! I want to come see you at The Flea, and might be able to in a few weeks. I have a few months in NYC coming up and perhaps a weekend in Brooklyn is in order? Miss you, Asya.

i've noticed your absence and glad to see you've been up to so much goodness during your break. each thing is better than the next, but the feathers are my favorites because flowers are always a given with me.

i can't resist housewives nyc (so much fighting - oy!) & nj (poor danielle's gorgeous daughters - madone), but my favorite new show is '9 by design', which is also on bravo.

oh so much goodness going on with you! funny, we also found our "green thumbs" on our stoop in brooklyn. now we have a much bigger plot but it all began with a handful of pots on steps. long live urban gardening!
