Leaving

We have to leave the apartment we've been living in for the last nine years. It's of course for the best but I hate when my brain doesn't shift that way. A little sad about it. Moving.

  3. do you know where you're moving yet? if it's any consolation, my recent apartment search for a 2br yielded many more apts appropriate for couples than for roommates.

  4. there is so much to feel at a moment like this. Deb what is great is that you and Jim lived in this apartment but it is you and jim that made it a home and that is something you are not leaving. your blog is filled with incredible moments experienced at that address but millions more that will live in your memory and that will come up when you need them too.

today i heard it said a dozen times in one film

it is not in the past you should look to but what is ahead,

good things, big things and i think there is a magical spirit trying to get you there just a little faster:)!

  5. In numerology 9 is the number of the finish line.

And this is a mantra I swiped from another blogger, Renee Finberg ( she won't mind the share):

    I am ready.
There is something big, bright and shiny coming down the road and heading straight towards me.
    It is good.
I just have to be ready to go.
    I am.
    It's my time.

    Cheers!

  7. Your friends are clever and kind to be so inspirational and supportive. I just want to mutter and swear and kick things. But they are right. You will take your light with you. And when you are in the new place, wherever it may be, I will bring you a...casserole! I think that is the right thing to do, yes?

  8. Marie, I'm with you. Trying to keep both sets of emotions in balance. And now the mention of the casserole will keep me going. danke sister.

  10. There's an even better apt out there with your name on it, I know it. One with a puppy machine and roses coming out of every nook and cranny. Or just, like, a washer/dryer hookup.
