My husband and I were also in Paris, on Sunday, March 4th. We walked past this very scene, stopped and took a picture, tilted our cameras up and took a picture of the sky. Just as you have done here. Small world.
Ha! That's funny--i think it was in the 5th arr. not far from the bridge to Notre Dame. These are all over the city though--this one was particularly nice...thanks for your visit Carrie!
