Can I only keep only posting about what I get at the famers market? I may have to start a whole new blog just for this...but the haul yesterday..it was lavish..it was decadent! If we had had some kind of out-of-season feathered fowl and a gaggle of bright-eyed herring hanging over the edge of the table, a Dutch Master could have come in and painted the whole overflowing bounty, a commentary on our overly-fruitful existence, a call for moderation, a reminder that life is fleeting...

    yes please. Keep posting about what you get at the Farmer's market. Actually all of the images in this post are beautiful and inspiring. Your purchases deserve an artist's rendition!

    everythings looks so fresh and bountiful. i am really envious of the flowers. i wish flowers like that grew in the desert.
