a little glimpse inside

The weekend is over. Two very incredible sales of which I cannot show you pictures today because my little camera finally went kapoot this morning. But I will soon...this week, so I can tell you how nice it was to meet so many amazing designers and artists and wonderful customers too. And to show you the beautiful art I got and other assorted sundries. Until then, here's a little glimpse of my surroundings mostly taken in the Fall when I was a little less busy and my little camera was still alive...{goodbye old friend...}

(p.s. That second picture is my mother and my uncle next to Jim's great-great aunts in Iowa!)

  7. Beautiful pictures!

    The candied rosemary: Really easy. Boil rosemary in a 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water for about five minutes. Remove and put on a rack to dry (very important, else the sugar clumps) for about an hour. Roll in baker's (superfine) sugar. The post before the one you commented on has a link to Epicurious.com where I found this (it's party of a larger recipe). This stuff is such a pretty winter garnish, but everyone at my dinner last night chewed on theirs and left little sticks on their plates!
