Lucky Miss Vana!

One of my favorite jewelry designers (and people), Virginia Galvan, will be bringing some of her beautifuls and we'll be selling Bonbons and Galvans together under my red tent over in E31, 10-5 at the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene. Come by and say hello if you're in town. I love her work. She pays so much incredible attention to detail-so thoughtful and delicate but each small pretty element is also bold and powerful. (I WILL own those earrings in the middle by weekend's end.)

Father's Day, graduation, groom's gifts, birthdays, anniversaries, anytime really. Can you think of anything else? Clinical Studies* have shown that money clips are good for every man gift in your life and even some ladies have announced they've been using them too and loving them. Hallelujah!
Our friend Roberto's cabin up in the country is small and rustic, filled with cookbooks, lies in front of a swimming hole on the Esopus Creek and is right down the street from Grandmére Yvonne, a Perigord French woman who grows all her own fruits and vegetables and makes her own duck confit, cornichons, huckleberry preserves (look for her giant sign in the road for "duck pot pies"). Love at first sight.
