A lot has been happening...and I haven't been around here much. We are busy with life things, trying to replace disappointments with hope of the most part and so that's a good thing. I want to tell you about the Moroccan desert and the Palmeraie, but we've been busy.
Bonbon's been filling Spring orders and just getting over Mother's Day, getting ready for Father's Day. We've been every Saturday at the Brooklyn Flea and are having our 4th(!) sale on Fab this Friday with many new things. Sign up if you haven't already so you can see...
In the meantime, here are a few from our new collection and a shoot we somehow talked Vanessa into modeling for, the Bonbon Girl for Summer...Jim took the model shots and I took the stills...It's from a collection called Omo, inspired by a book I have about the Surma and Mursi tribes in Southern Ethiopia, just on the border of kenya and Sudan, the colors of the Omo valley and the beads and elaborate natural decorations worn by the men and women and children. This is a quieter interpretation and mixed with a visit to the Lakota reservation a few years ago...
