Sold yet? You will be after you see Alexandra Lakin's fantastic fantastical works. We went to art school together at The School of Arts and Design at Alfred University. She was always one of my very favorite artists then and she is still is now. Her color combinations are so delicate and also wild and perfectly suited to her imaginative ways of illustrating these little stories. To me they evoke an imaginary and real sense of earlier American lives, a little wilder and a little more free yet quite bound to the earth.
