Seriously though, isn't it time we put away childish things? {Never: See post below}
Costumes past, that have won the hearts of...uh... a few people I know.
2007: Beethoven
2006: Einstein
2005: Steve Zissou ( I felt a great connection to the character at the time)
2004: Super Pink Pinkerbell
2004: Ziegfield & Roy (Jim was Zigfield/I was Roy)
2003: That year I went as the house we used to live down the street from on Walter Street in San Francisco. The windows were covered in tinfoil and it had signs all over the door and everywhere. I went as the sign that said: "Just because it is Halloween is no reason to zap my appliances". I carried a toaster and wore a tin foil helmet with antennae. A little abstract, I know.
2002: Edith Piaf (I always love the chance to smear my lipstick)
I don't remember too well before this but there seems to be a common link. What it is I'm not sure. Now get out there and have a fun halloween everyone. Of course you can!

You didn't mention what you were going to be!
You are probably one of the most ingenius costume creators/wearers! Very clever! :)
Happy Halloween!
i still cannot, do not believe that picture above is you two.
it's positively uncanny.
this is brilliant! i love karl!!! did he have a german accent
i love it when people get into the dressing up of this holiday- i especially love when they think outside the box- great costumes! nadias necklace is beautiful, so perfect for her:)
thank you for your sweet concerns and sharing how you feel about my controversial post. i think it goes without say, that i would never want to take another life, or be faced with a situation where i would have to do harm to someone. it definitely is my mama bear instincts coming out in a discussion, and i just hope that if my children were ever confronted with something bad that i would have the wits about me to swing that bat to protect them. i wish we lived in a peaceful world where we didn't have to have these worries.
anyways, on to happier thoughts-
have a spooktacular halloween deb!
It sounds like you are going to have a marvelous time tonight! Thank you for your other thoughtful posts about blog friendships, Obama, and that delicious looking pecan pie...
