Thanks Paris

a funny little keyhole

a truly cool door knocker

an installation at Le Showroom by Sophie Cuvelier

Paris morning

Paris night

I feel good. Wonderful things happened in Paris. I got to meet the artist Sophie Cuvelier, who did a wonderful installation at Le Showroom. I felt a little like I was meeting one of my artistic heroes--I have loved her work for some time. She was sweet and humble and gave me a little garland which I will treasure.
And then the lovely and talented Mary Laure, who writes the blog AUREA which I am always inspired by, came to the show on the last morning and it was so nice to sit with her and talk and realize how much we had in common and how we could have gone on and on. She wrote about it as well and I was happy to have met her.
And Rieko, who ran the Pop-Up Boutique at the show. She helped me so much, especially when she stayed to help me pack (since I was alone this time) and wait for a taxi with me on the last night (next to impossible to find a taxi on the last Sunday night of fashion week in Paris!).

Paris is so grand. Everything seems to look better in Paris. I truly think it is the most romantic city. I just love your pictures and have vicariously through them.
