Lost in Marrakech, Loud and Soft

I loved the high energy and the fast pace of the souks, explosion after explosion of color, motorbikes and ongoing commentary from every shopkeeper you'd pass but the winding, hidden alleys of the Medina in Marrakech were our favorite places. They offered an incredible, peaceful respite from the intensity of the souks and main thoroughfares...we made wrong turns all day, trying to get lost a little, looking for nothing in particular except whatever came our way or quietly passed us by.

To illustrate the feeling further, a little clip from my favorite Sesame Street character, Roosevelt Franklin, (or maybe this is just a stretch, because I love this clip so much):

may as well just confess right now, that I swiped the pick of the black cat in the orange alley. I am going to use it on something, somewhere, someday. ( And give you full credit, of course :-) xoh

"Do it! Roosevelt! Hm!" These shots are gorgeous....I love the one of Jim taking a moment to pet the little cat, the doorways and the implied contrast of "loud" and "soft"....I also love this clip and you! Have a great weekend hun!
