It's the week America lost some strange yet powerful icons as well as other friends, while it rained and rained. Read this very touching post about things left behind by P, written earlier this week.Have a good, very much in the moment weekend.

Yesterday was definitely a weird day for pop culture and people of my generation.
I've spoken to younger friends, and they don't get it.
They've barely heard of Farrah, and only know Jacko the Wacko, not what Micheal was before.....all that.
that's my favorite michael too.
my friend, brooke, is in beauty school...none of her classmates know who farrah fawcett is. she was shocked, because, well, farrah was...is...a hair icon. she also has a deep love for mj. it was a tough night.
this weekend i promise to live in the moment...my mom is visiting me, so i have to :)
have a wonderful, wonderful weekend dear deb.
era ending in a sad kind of way
poor farrah
poor michael
That was so him. Thanks for your sweet comment.
Beautiful eyes.
so sad indeed... carpe diem is the philosphy, you are absolutely right!
Wishing you a lovely week-end!
It's sad, but he will be remembered and danced to...
I love that pic of him with an afro!
Spent an embarrassing amount of time last night watching MJ videos and crying. He was so incredible in the 70s and 80s - poetry in motion. What an incredible performer. It's was so sad to watch him deteriorate into a husk of a person.
love what he wrote about the things we leave behind. so true. lots to think about.
