Drawing Board, Take 2

Here's my little Bonbon Valentine...it might come into your inbox today:
This week I've been doing more graphic design than jewelry design--it's become as integral to what I do as the jewelry or so it seems. I just do pretty simple things--nothing too complex but have been teaching myself photoshop, indesign and illustrator over the last three years and finally feel in a place where I can get things done a little faster, although I still have a million questions about how to do certain things (right Heidi, right Jen, right Kaelea?). I wish I had more scrolls and cool fonts and stuff to play with but in the meantime, here are a few little sponsor spots(!) hot off the..uh...computer for sweet Traci's Bliss:
And here's the back of my postcard which has to go to the printer today. I'm still choosing the front and I think instead of doing a lookbook, I'll do a collection of different postcards and pack them in a pretty glassine envelope, tied with a pretty string and maybe a feather....the name of the new collection is Fleuri d'Hiver or "Blossoms of Winter" (...or Blossoming Winter...)
Alright, thanks for letting me share what I've been working on. It's back to the drawing board and choosing which postcards to get printed....

Thank you for all your support and feedback on my last post and thanks as well to all of you who are spreading the word about the Bonbon Giveaway and my Valentine Recession Special (30% off all bonbons with lockets until Feb 10th!). Wow!

Recognize the beautiful photos? Yep, they're Amy's!

Your work looks good! It amazes me how much we need to know computer skills/graphic design these days.

Your sponsor spots will be perfect on Bliss!

Amy's photos are so beautiful. I just love your new collection!! I already said it in the post below, but really there are some very tempting pieces. I have just purchased a mac book Pro and I am trying to learn photoshop!! That will be a long journey, sigh!

your designs look great deb...jeez. but, you should search for some different brushes for photoshop to add to the ones that it already comes with...that is how i designed my banner...though you may already know these things.

and i have been telling everyone i know about your line coming out in UO...yay!

You can find new fonts free all over the net..there are some REALLY COOL ones out there! :D

And that middle one of the bottom three would totally make me click through. Divine.

I think you're doing a fine job with the design and "branding" of your work. I know I am hooked...now where is that sugar daddy I need so bad?!!
