The Book According to Cindy

photos via quaint handmade

Just read this by the lovely Cindy from Quaint Handmade and loving it. My mind-boggingly talented neighbor Rachel made one via blurb I think and now Cindy has lit the fire under my ass at just the right temperature to get on this project--I want to do a Lookbook and maybe even a Bonbon how-to manual or even weirder, a seasonal inspiration compilation for the studio. Cindy you too have officially boggled my mind...

p.s. Diana from Make Workshop is offering a free bonbon-making class! Take a look at the post below my lovelies.

oh this is GENIUS! i will be first in line for your lookbook. you posted your schemeboard for one of your collections a while ago and that's when i fell in love with you blog (ok, fine, and you) and i think there is MAJOR possibility for something very, very unique and cool here...you take such gorgeous pictures and the storyline/concept behind your lines are SO compelling.

do it.

i want one.

Hope you make a super book.
I will buy it!
Making books seems like a stunning idea.....
however you can go quite mad trying to actually do them.....
I need to hire a twelve year old to coach me!

oh wow, i am honored & thrilled to have lit that fire! all the work was totally worth it, now. a book including several of your collections would be an incredible way to document the evolution of your bonbons. it would be such a wonderful thing to hold in your hands.

the way you all photograph & style each collection in and of itself would make it a delight. they're really lovely editorial images. i hope you do it! blurb accommodates books of up to 440 pages, so get busy, lady ;)!

xo, c

ps go with the premium paper if you use blurb.
